THE ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of the Finance Team working to maintain order and transparency for Rydoo’s finances and will contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department. This position is reporting to the Head of Western Europe Accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Assist with reviewing and posting of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Assist in the preparation of monthly & quarterly closings
Assist with other accounting projects

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of relevant experience in Belgian accounting
Excellent organizing abilities & critical thinker
Great attention to detail and strong analytical acumen
Love for numbers
Excellent knowledge of Ms Office and Netsuite
Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
MA in accounting or finance
