There’s one thing that can sway decisions faster than any sales deck, demo, or ROI calculator: a genuine customer review. Yet, getting those reviews? Let’s just say it’s not exactly like turning on a tap.

At Rydoo, every review represents the work of different teams. They’re the result of every helpful reply from Support, every product tweak inspired by feedback, and every Customer Success touchpoint.

As Customer Marketing Manager at Rydoo, I get to speak with brilliant finance teams who are transforming how their companies manage expenses. Their stories are rich, powerful, but too often untold.

My role is to amplify those voices, whether through a testimonial, a case study, or a simple review. The end game? Build on our reassurance and our reputation.

The power behind reviews

Why are reviews so powerful? Because people trust people.

Before anyone chooses a new anything, they want to be sure they’re making the right choice. Whether it’s an air fryer or SaaS software, reviews cut through the noise. They reveal what’s working, what’s not, and what’s truly valuable, free from marketing jargon.

Software, in fact, is one of the most heavily reviewed and researched categories.

Gartner Peer Insights alone reports over 760,000 verified reviews across hundreds of markets, and according to G2’s 2024 Buyer Behaviour Report, surveying nearly 1,900 B2B software buyers, the decision process for software has become significantly more demanding and scrutinised.

Potential users want to know: “Will this work for me and my business?” A review, especially from someone facing the same challenges, provides the kind of authentic reassurance no sales pitch can replicate. Because it’s not coming from a representative, but from someone who has been there.

For Rydoo, this is no exception. That’s why you’ll find our team gently reaching out to customers, asking if they’d be open to sharing their experience.

Reviews play a significant role for every company. Each review is a snapshot of how we’re doing, but also a chance to improve.

How reviews became a part of Rydoo’s DNA?

Here’s the challenge: even the happiest customers won’t always shout it from the rooftops. Why? Because they’re busy. Because writing a review feels like just another task. Or maybe… because no one asked. So we did.

But we also asked ourselves: what if reviews weren’t just something Marketing chased quarterly, but something everyone cared about every single day?

We needed a mindset shift. Something that brought Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing together around a simple goal: make authentic customer feedback an integral part of how we work. That became Project Evergreen.

We encouraged teams to approach reviews not as a checkbox, but as a conversation, a moment to learn. It wasn’t just about collecting stars. It was about connecting with the people behind the logos, understanding what success means to them, and reminding them that their voices matter. Because they really, really do.

We’re already at 4.8/5 score and ranked as the highest-rated expense management tool on Gartner Peer Insights, but the work never stops.

More reviews = more recognition

So what happens when someone takes a moment to leave a review?

  • Someone at another company finally finds the confidence to try a better way of working;
  • Your feedback directly shapes future product improvements;
  • You help define how a business grows and where it focuses next.

Because customers spoke up, Rydoo was featured in the Gartner Voice of the Customer 2025 report as the highest-rated Expense Management tool, with the highest willingness to recommend at 95%.

Reviews prove that customers trust our product, our people, our promise and, above all, that their voices carry weight.

For customers, it’s validation. For prospects, it’s reassurance. For our teams, it’s motivation.

Customers’ voices will always count

When customers speak, the smartest thing we can do is listen. Their voices help Rydoo grow, earn global recognition, and strengthen the trust that fuels everything we do.

And whether you’re selling software, services, consulting, or hardware, the same applies to you. Your customers are already talking about you. The question is: do you know what they’re saying?

The end user, the person who actually uses your software every day, is your best guide.

Gartner Peer Insights, G2, Capterra, TrustRadius — these are just some of the B2B review platforms worth keeping an eye on. So ask yourself:

  • Are we present?
  • Are we proud of what’s there?
  • Are we learning from the feedback?

If you’re scaling your business and haven’t checked your scores in a while, take a look. Your future customers definitely are.

And if you’re a Rydoo customer, we’re always happy to hear your story, whether it’s a five-star review or something to think about.

Your voice counts. Thanks for sharing it with us.
